Digital page of book
this project is the last project of my university journey. the project in itself holds great personal importance to me as it's my way of trying to reach out to children who grew up like myself with dyslexia, to try and make their outlook on learning more fun and engaging . in this I had decided to cover this in two design ways of design to murals ( A2 Paintings ) as well as being pained in Gesso for sensory stimulation this is to inspire motivation to never really give up in education, portrayed in my pieces of the retelling of the fairytale the ugly duckling (Hans Christan Anderson). as well as a storybook that goes with it telling the story with vibrant images.

Third-year:
my last year of uni is constructing a brief for myself to create something informed of my developing practice of something I've chosen that important to me. as an inspiring teacher, I always want my work to be informed by children's learning and development whether that be in inspiration or education.
About Me and my practices
when I work I love to be at home it really is my comfort zone as well as sitting with a drink and snacks, if the practice is practical I do enjoy putting on a drama it helps entertain me and not too hyper-focus on my practice for it to flow better and naturally. my preferred method od digitally illustrating is Photoshop as it is easy for me to use as well translating what I want to design from my drawings to digital pieces.
Second-year 2.0
Skull and Flowers
in our last year of our second gave us the opportunities to hold an exhibition of our work. our exhibition was formed on short stories given on our last brief, my own created on the story of "Omaleas"
Second-year :
Before we had our planned exhibition at the end of our second year we did smaller projects to help develop more of our practice. for example, this was my first time doing an illustration that was considered editorial. these were some of my favorite pieces as it made me explore my works in ways that can be viewed in a professional setting.
my first year although very nerve-wracking as everything was so new was really informative to my already developing practice. it allowed me to explore briefs given with my own creative perspective. as well as collaborate with fellow illustrators within my class. the project completed was a booklet of our choice in which I decided to pay homage to my own heritage by paying homage to'' Yaa story ' a story told to children on the principles and values of living a ' righteous life ' using the Akan symbols of Ghana.

Independent pieces
My independent pieces is greatly informed by my heritage of being Ghanaian as well as my love for animals, botanicals, and patterns as well as anything fantasy. these aspects combined make up my aesthetic for making art. I have no set medium of working in as I love experimenting with all types of mediums to inform and develop my practice as an illustrator and aspiring teacher.
Here are some images of projects done in school intruded by briefs that were set and in response these were my design solution.
